"Coffee orders...the Magna Carta was less complicated"
This happens to be a line from a recent "Elementary", a show that has brilliantly redefined the Sherlock Holmes oeuvre.
But it makes a great point. You walk into a Dunkin Donuts and you simply order a coffee.
You walk into one of these Washington-style places, Starbucks being the most egregious in this entirely stupid arena, you have to know all manner of terms just to get a coffee. Grande? Macchiato? What the hell are these things?
I rush back to Dunkin. We are only talking coffee.
