My annual living costs are quite modest - if you ignore the thousands we spend on the pool, and the tens of thousands we pay in taxes.

Me? A pair of topsiders once a year. $79 bucks.

My wife? I would go blind keeping track of her bills. Loads of gardening things absolutey lost on me, loads of Talbot clothing - though quite stunning - lost on me, and all manner of things her shopping friends - frankly, living vicariously through her - talk her into.

Thank goodness I was a good saver.

Although, when I told big brother Buzz what our monthly car lease was, he nearly passed out on me.

We persevere, but I must insist, my topsiders are not breaking the bank.
