Night Skies

There are never really night skies here in our part of NJ.  Being about 20 miles away from New York, the atmospheric wash sort of keeps things lit.

I have put a call into Mayor Bloomberg (as only a curmudgeon could) to ask that they turn the lights down some.

Should I be surprised that I haven't gotten a call back?
