Bad Rugs

My Sainted wife likes to decorate, decorate, and redecorate.  A Curmudgeon, such as myself can move into a place, and as long as my speakers have the appropriate separation I'm OK.

But suddenly rugs on rugs have appeared.  Have you any experience in these matters?  The damn things walk around over the other carpet, wrinkle so that you embarrass yourself stumbling in front of dinner guests, and are in a word or two, a royal pain.

And, at my advanced age, I don't need any more things tripping me up.
