Bachelor Pads

My bachelor pad was a penthouse suite high atop beautiful downtown Cranford NJ.

Now the reality - in Cranford NJ, "high atop" means a 3-story walk up in an old house.  And "suite" translates into 3 rooms.

But I was right across the street from the Rustic Mill diner, I had a short walk to the train I took to work, and there was actually one of those little A&Ps close by.

The setup was perfect - the adding of young ladies to appreciate all this, and more importantly me, was waay more elusive.

But, with a rent of $135 a month, I could be patient.
