I may have mentioned in the past that I like my rock & roll...a lot. Good R&R can get 4 foot high speakers to have some fun.
I have recently purchased a bluetooth device that is attached to my vintage stereo. I can sit here in Command Central and use the iPad to demand anything to play.
So, big deal you may think - I have bluetoothed my iPad to my stereo. Let me hasten to assure you - it IS a big deal. With bluetooth, you command the choice of song AND the volume from your seat. At my age, this is sort of priceless.
Oddly, the cats seem to be OK with Jimi Hendix at breathtaking volumes. The Sainted wife? Not so much.
