Summer Thunderstorms

For those of you who don't live in these parts, these are wonders of nature: a flash of lightning, a rather huge rumble of thunder, promptly followed by torrential rain.

Now, we human adults enjoy mother nature's show.  Cats, not so much.  They lift off the floor and bolt somewhere - I really don't know where, wetting their fur in the process.

But these thunderstorms are over in like 10 minutes.

The cats? Don't return for hours.
