The US Economy

It would appear that the US economy has bounced back. I am getting credit card offers like crazy.

Now, I live in a rather affluent town (apparently the affluence is elsewhere here in town), but the zip code is a magnet for credit card sellers.

As a responsible curmudgeon, I have limited my credit cards to 3: the L.L. Bean one being the most important (free shipping - what cheapy could refuse?).

My wife uses an American Express card. A card that is refused at every two places we go because of AEs fee requirements from business people.

L.L. Bean? Accepted everywhere.
