Thumbs bleed?

The curmudgeon's cat, Tiger, has never missed an opportunity to make the curmudgeon bleed..


 But his latest foray was the dear chief-of-staff's thumb.  Who knew it could bleed like that?


I guess the good news is that the internal plumbing is still reaching to the extremities.
