Claws

I clip my cat's claws.

For all you non-cat owners, you have absolutely no idea how dangerous this is.

First, you must get the cat upside down.  That alone causes a great amount of personal bleeding. Then the clipping begins. On a good day, you can quickly get a couple before they realize what is afoot.

Then the battle begins - you have 8 more to go with a rather fierce creature that wasn't too happy about the first two.

They are really, really fierce fighters upside down.

I bleed for the cause.
