Snow

Here in New Jersey, there aren't many serious snowfalls during the winter.  If you have kept up with your history (or read a past blog), the mini ice age is now history, so we don't see armfuls of snow like we used to (I still recall the snow tunnels we made on our front lawn in the 50s).

So, snow maintenance is way simpler.  Not being a master of the small gas engine (no mower and such), I have an electric snow blower when needed.

It is a marvel.  My driveway is all of 50 feet long, but 2 cars wide.  And I have kept it a white stone driveway because it is so beautiful.

Of course, when I plow snow, little white stones are flying everywhere.  I spend two or three weeks every spring picking them back up.  But I will NEVER macadam.
