Having just re-watched one of his favorite movies "Evil Under the Sun", on videocassette, the curmudgeon wanted to switch over to the DVD side for another engaging episode of Brisco County
After punching every button he could think of on his nifty new "Universal" remote, and again, there are 20,000 or so, so this wasn't a short effort, he actually had to GET UP and retrieve the device's own remote, which has DVD/VCR buttons clearly marked.
He had to actually GET UP. Sort of defeats the purpose of "remote" no?
